Anva — Terms of Service

Welcome to Anva, an AI-powered learning platform developed by AnvaTech Labs Pvt. Ltd. ("we", "our", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Anva mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using Anva, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Anva, you confirm that:

You are at least 13 years of age
If you are under 18, you have obtained parental or guardian consent
You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations

2. Description of Service

Anva provides:

AI-powered adaptive quizzes and personalized learning paths
Cognitive profile analysis and diagnostic assessments
AI doubt-solving and concept explanations
Performance analytics and progress tracking
Learning resources aligned with Indian educational boards (CBSE, ICSE, State Boards)

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice.

3. User Accounts

Account Creation:

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
One account per user; sharing accounts is prohibited

Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activities.

4. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

✕ Attempt to gain unauthorized access
✕ Reverse engineer or disassemble Service
✕ Upload viruses or harmful code
✕ Harass, abuse, or harm other users

5. Intellectual Property

Our Content: All content, features, and functionality of Anva (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, AI models, and learning materials) are owned by AnvaTech Labs Pvt. Ltd.

Your Content: You retain ownership of any content you submit. By using Anva, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use, store, and process your content solely to provide and improve the Service.

Limited License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use Anva for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.

6. Payments and Subscriptions

Current Pricing: Anva is offered completely free of charge during this open beta. There are no subscription fees, in-app purchases, or hidden costs.

You will not be charged for using the Service
We are not processing payments while the Service remains free
If we introduce paid features, we will provide clear notice and updated terms

7. AI-Generated Content

Anva uses Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI to generate personalized content. While we strive for accuracy:

AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors or inaccuracies
We do not guarantee 100% correctness of AI outputs
Users should verify critical information independently
Inaccurate content can be flagged using the in-app "Report" feature

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Anva, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Third-Party Services

Anva may integrate with third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of such services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

No Warranty: Anva is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free Service.

Educational Tool: Anva supplements traditional education; we do not guarantee specific academic outcomes or exam results.

Limitation: AnvaTech Labs Pvt. Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
